I Was Diagnosed Almost 3 Weeks Ago With Pneumonia And

I was diagnosed almost 3 weeks ago with pneumonia and pluerisy in my right lung. I was in extreme pain - didn't think I would make it to the hospital, having a great deal of difficulty breathing. I was admitted for 3 days receiving pain meds and iv antibiotics. Came home from the hospital with a z - pac. I had a followup appointment with my doctor on Thursday - still much pain. Did another chest X-ray and called in a steroid and an additional antibiotic... still saw the pneumonia. How long does this recovery normally take?
