I was diagnosed to have hiatal hernia in the cardia. I have had it for about 35 to 40 years, but it was on the right side and I would feel it move down below my ribs. I have not felt it in a long time and the diagnosis surprised me. I know I have to eat soft foods, but I was wondering for how long.
