I Was Diagnosed Today At Urgent Care With Cellulitis On

I was diagnosed today at urgent care with cellulitis on the right side of my head. My lymph nodes behind the ear and in my neck on that side are swollen and very painful. I've started taking Cephalexin and am using a heating pad for pain relief. Does this condition preclude my taking a road trip in a week? Am I contagious?
