I Was Diagnosed W/ A Bakers Cyst Several Years Ago.

I was diagnosed w/ a bakers cyst several years ago. However, it has never bothered me until today. My right leg is extremely painful - behind the knee joint down the shin area and up the leg toward the hip area.
Should I go to my family Md. Or an orthopedic specialist ?
