I Was Diagnosed With Hypertension Earlier This Week (Tuesday). It

I was diagnosed with Hypertension earlier this week (Tuesday). It was 180 / 120. I was sent for blood tests and immediately put on Lisinopril 10mg, 1 every morning.
My BP is still high with a Diastolic of about 115.
I will have the blood test results hopefully next week.
My question is, should my BP have gone down by now or does it take a few days for Lisinopril to start working?
