I Was Diagnosed With Lyme Disease 2 Months Ago. I

I was diagnosed with Lyme disease 2 months ago. I have been through a session of antibiotic therapy for it and more for a suspected optic nerve infection. I recently had a blood testing to determine what has happened. Results show no indication of Lyme disease. Is this normal? I was told I could show "positive" for years. Thank you.
