I Was Diagnosed With PID 3 Months Ago. Cultures Came

I was diagnosed with PID 3 months ago. cultures came back indeterminate for BV, positive for candida and negative for chlamydia and gonorrhea. I had an IUD at the time and it was removed. I had it reinserted 3 weeks ago, but I have been reading that having PID in the past is a contraindication to insertion. Is this true? Should I get it taken out?
