I Was Diagnosed With RA....had Trouble With Methotrexate, And Took

I was diagnosed with RA....had trouble with methotrexate, and took myself off of it...Pain in leg stopped..went back to ,my family dr. and she put me on prednisone..I now have absolutely no signs of RA..so my question is could the diagnose have been mis-diagnosed -since prednisone has done so well..could I have Polymyalgia instead?
