I Was Diagnosed With A Sinus Infection A Week Ago.

I was diagnosed with a sinus infection a week ago. The doctor prescribed antibiotics and cough syrup. I finished meds today . I am still a little congested and the back of my tongue is swollen and hurts. It's also hard for me to swallow. I thought I would feel better by now. What could be the problem?
