I Was Diagnosed With Cutaneous Lupus. I Had A Flare

I was diagnosed with cutaneous Lupus. I had a flare up a week ago today. my face was completely red and swollen. What is going on with my condition? my arms look horrible, I'm 72, but still care about my general appearance. I'm taking 6 Methatrexate once a week, and folic acid on the remaining days. I'm so confused about this malady.
