I Was Diagnosed With Diverticulitis Today..65 N Very Healthy Normally..on

I was diagnosed with diverticulitis today..65 n very healthy normally..on 2 antibiotics now for 10 days..told to avoid seeds n nuts..popcorn..strawberries etc for a month or 2 n slowly eat just a little to see how that goes. Then resources on the paperwork Given and Internet all said there's no research to show that helps...what's up with that recommendation then..I luv those things and they are great fiber.
