I Was Diagnosed With Gallstones About 4 Yrs Ago. Yesterday

I was diagnosed with gallstones about 4 yrs ago. Yesterday around 9:00 am I had a flare-up, the severe pain has subsided, however I am still in quite a bit of pain, does the pain usually last this long? I had one flare-up about 6 months after my original diagnosis, it only lasted a couple hours
