I Was Diagnosed With Severe Oa In The Left Hip.

I was diagnosed with severe oa in the left hip. The pain is so severe I cannot walk or stand without a walker and cannot sleep due to the pain. I have never heard of this much pain from OA. It literally takes my breath away. I was given tramadol to ease the pain. So far it has done nothing. I have tried heat and ice treatments also with no helpful results.
Do you have any recommendations?
