I Was Diagnosed With Shingles 6 Days Ago. Instead Of

I was diagnosed with shingles 6 days ago. Instead of blisters I have a large bruise starting at the right side of my spine about 5 inches wide and 3 inches tall. I was fine when I went to bed and woke up and couldn't move. There was a burning ripping pain in my right ribcage shooting down into the top of my right hip. I have not been able to lay down to sleep because of the burning ripping pain in my hip. I am currently taking acyclovir 800 my and hydro morphine 2 my. Is there a chance that I have been misdiagnosed? Is there any home remedy that may help .
