I Was Diagnosed With Tinnitus Last Summer And Have Tolerated

I was diagnosed with tinnitus last summer and have tolerated it ok. Over the past week I have had a terrible roaring sensation in my head and still have the tinnitus. Are they connected or do I need to make another appt to see my ENT physician? Had a brain MRI which showed an ectopic posterior pituitary and will have a repeat MRI in one year. Roaring and tinnitus are wearing me down and make it hard to sleep. Thanks
