I Was Diagnosed With Tonsillitis On The 17th Of September

I was diagnosed with tonsillitis on the 17th of September but 4 days prior I already started antibiotics because I felt my throat itch but didn't think it would be tonsillitis, now my neck and head hurts I feel cold and there's blood in my phlegm? Is it ok? I'm taking clarithromycin (Klaricid) it's the 5th day still can't bear the pain when I swallow need ibuprofen to be able to not scream with pain
