I Was Diagnosed With Two Kidney Stones On Friday Early

I was diagnosed with two kidney stones on Friday early morning. One in each kidney. Left ureteral stone and renal stone - right. I have been on pain medication until today where the pain has calmed down to where I don't think I need to take the pain med. However, I don't feel that the stone on the left has passed. I do have a history of kidney stones and in the past and the stone has had to be removed with a procedure. Question. Can the pain subside and the stone still be present
