I Was Diagnosed With Two Partial Tears In My Rotator

I was diagnosed with two partial tears in my rotator cuff, which I am treating with meloxicam. Lately my entire arm has been hurting, even to the touch. It seems I can feel the pain right down to the bones, a deep ache. Is this a normal progression from tearing?
