I was doing my splits on my left side for dance and everything felt fine. About an hour later, I tried to do the splits again and I felt an extreme pain on the back of my leg. I assumed I mightve pulled a hamstring muscle, and the next day I could barely lift my leg up in the air without it hurting so bad. This has been going on for a week now, and it is not getting any better. I can walk and exercise just fine, but I cant move my leg barely 2 feet in the air without it hurting. Should I continue to stretch? Is it a hamstring pull? What should I do about this?
