I Was Driving And My Eyes Started Watering From The

I was driving and my eyes started watering from the sun then in my left I it was hard to see out of and if I blinked the blurry blob would move so I looked in the mirror touched the blob and it came off my eye and my vision was fine after but the blob was clear and gooey. What was the blob and should I be worried?
