I Was Driving Today Around To Get Groceries. Went To
I was driving today around to get groceries. Went to Walmart and felt a little bit of anxiety but just carried on. This was about 2pm. I didn't eat breakfast, I usually can't stomach it. But I did have a Tuna croissant at 1:00. Morning consisted of 2 cups of coffee. Anyway, at 2 I was feeling really thirsty and so I stopped in and got an iced Capp. Took quite a few sips being thirty. Then all of a sudden I could hear this wooshing sound in my ears, got really dry mouth and very dizzy. Felt almost intoxicated. Had to pull over. Tried to call a friend but couldn't seem to find anyone in my cell phone contacts. Like I was not capable to comprehend names and if they were home. Was weird. I started having a panic attack (which I get quite a bit. Take Wellbutrin for that) I plugged my ear I could hear that wooshing sound in and it kind of subsided. Then I got my wits about me and called my paramedic friend. She told me to go right into the shippers drug mart and get my blood pressure checked. I was to scared to drive all the way to the hospital and i was close to shoppers. This was about a half hour after the incident. Now my blood pressure read 154/106 pulse of 98. Tried it a few minutes later and it read 148/107 pulse 84. I then waited 10 minutes and figured maybe it was so high cause of my racing heart and anxiety, panic attack etc so did it a 3rd go. It read 145/109 pulse of 96.
What happened ? Was it cause I didn't eat and my sugars were off? Was it high blood pressure? (I have never had any issues with that and no other symptoms. I have had a few times not eating and then getting dizzy spells before but never like today. Never heard that sound in my ears either.
I am going into the doctor tomorrow morning first thing. Please give me your opinion and advice. Thank you. It was really scary and I'm afraid to go to sleep.
