I Was Dx In Er With A Systemic Virus. Treated

I was dx in er with a systemic virus. Treated primarily with iv pain meds & fluids. Since leaving my temperature has gone as high as 104.1F &i am coughing up rust colored sputum with much pain in my right Lower lobe. Is it possible the chest xray missed an infection in my lungs & what should I do?
