I Was Forced By My Insurance To Switch From Novolog

I was forced by my insurance to switch from novolog flexion to the Homolog kwikpen in late 2015. Since then I have had numerous problems using the kwikpen as it frequently freezes up and becomes unusable even though I follow the directions for use diligently. This is expensive and annoying and the manufacturer will not even respond to inquires. Is there a special way to use the kwikpen that eli lilly is not disclosing?
