I Was Given Cipro For A Respiratory Condition Because Of

I was given cipro for a respiratory condition because of a heavy cough and a lot of clear phlegm. It looks dangerous to me and I would like to stop it. I have taken 3 doses. Can I stop it? If not, what is the shortest duration I can take it for?
