I Was Going To A Family Clinic For My Stenosis

I was going to a family clinic for my stenosis and ruptured discs in my spine. I was getting 120 Percocet 10/325 for 30 days. I've dropped that clinic and have an upcoming appt with a pain dr. Will the amt change he will write, also for chronic back pain what is the max number he can write for a 30 day supply? I don't want to go to OxyContin and had rather stay with my oxycodone or hydrocodone. Can he write every 4 hr instead of every 6 hrs?
