I Was Having Little Vaginal Discharge So Doctor Prescribed Me

I was having little vaginal discharge so doctor prescribed me and my partner zocon t kit. The problem stopped the day I showed the doctor so I dint take the medicine. But again now I am having some wet feeling and little discharge and some foul smell so I have started the course. But we always use condom then why my husband is given the same kit. Once in a while we do it widout condom. Will it harm if does not have any infection.
