I Was Hit In The Head With A Softball About

I was hit in the head with a softball about 10 years ago the stitches were literally cut into my forehead it hurt but I was totally fine besides the fact that I had a huge black and blue lump on my forehead. After the cuts healed and the bruising went away the bump is still present on my forehead. How do I get rid of it?
