I Was Hit In The Throat Byy 10 Month Old

I was hit in the throat byy 10 month old 5 days ago. Just today my throat hurts to swallow and feels like a hard lump moving from top to bottom of throat. Could this be the cause of something serious? I have also had a cough and have been hacking for the past month. Antibiotics and inhaler have not helped that. Could the throat be inflammation? Could the two things be triggering each other?
