I Was Hit On The Outside Of My Leg Just

I was hit on the outside of my leg just above my left knee with a pole by someone. I had to get stitches because I had a hole the size of my thumb down to the muscle. I now have pain behind my knee when walking. standing moving it. I has x rays and they were neg. I received 6 stitches to close the wound. the area is swollen and very sore.
