I Was Hit The Side Of My Head There Is

I was hit the side of my head there is a knot there but whats really bothering my is the the top off my ear is a really dark purple, I'm positive it's just a bruise but do I need to see someone for it? ? It happened on saturday and no change in color, or pain.
