I Was In A Rear End Collision On May 22.

I was in a rear end collision on may 22. sore but ok. may 31 I woke up with a bruise on inner left eyelid. went to emerg. doc checked blood to make sure it was clotting and did neck xray. all good. he has no clue and says he doubts its related? what would cause this?
