I Was In The ER 3 Weeks Ago For Extreme

I was in the ER 3 weeks ago for extreme nausea and diarrhea that had been going on for 4 days. They took blood and a ct scan with contrast. The ct scan showed mild inflammatory or infectious colitis of the rectosigmoid colon. The blood labs came back normal. Since I had been on a Zpac the week before they thought I had cdiff and gave me 10 days of Flygyl. I had 3 stool samples and they all came back negative for cdiff or any other bacterial infection. I've lost 10 pounds and went from105 to 95 pounds. I am eating and hydrating and am not able to gain any weight. I am trying to move around and take short walks. I still have nausea and very little energy. I have not been able to return to work yet, which is very unusual for me. Is there anything else I can do? I am 63 and usually healthy. I eat well and had an active lifestyle before this. Thank you. Diane
