I Was In The Hospital Not Long Ago And Was

I was in the hospital not long ago and was told I have hepatitis c. when I consulted my primary care giver he ran a few test and told me he thought it necessary for me to wait until I have advanced with symptoms before he recommends me for treatment. I am not feeling well still and haven't been able to even get a list of symptoms so I can monitor my self and also do I have to wait until it advances so far that treatment may not work.? I received blood during e.r. surgery over 26 years ago and had no idea I was infected until a couple months ago. can you please help me take the correct direction to cure this infectious mess.?
