I Was In The Hospital Two Weeks Ago For Gestional

I was in the hospital two weeks ago for gestional hypertension with super imposed preeclampsia. The first IV they put in blew after one dose of IV blood pressure medication. They secured another site before starting the magnesium drop and other medications during induction. The original site brushed horribly because counter pressure had to be applied to the site when my blood pressure had to be taken. Now my bruse is gone but has been replaced with a bumpy, red, itchy, rash. It appeared about 4 days ago. Any ideas as to what it could be? Do I need to make an appointment with my GP?
