I Was In The Mountains Yesterday And A Small, Shiny

I was in the mountains yesterday and a small, shiny emerald green bug flew down my shirt and stung me 5 times on my chest, and stomach. I wanted to know what kind of bug this was. It caused welts, but these have since disappeared. Is it poisonous? My skin is very sensitive to the touch. Thank you!
