I Was In The Sun A Month Ago I Got

I was in the sun a month ago I got a rash that was said to be an allergic reaction to something. I still have marks on my knees and hand. the rash has stopped itching but the skin is discolored do you think the will go away in time and can I go back in the sun. after having blood work done mu auto Immune was low.
