I Was In To The Dr Twice....with A Slight Scratchy

I was in to the dr twice....with a slight scratchy and swollen throat. First time in a med station, a strep swab was inconclusive and I was put on antibiotics and got a steroid shot for inflammation. Throat did not go down and I was back into my regular dr office and the strep swab was negative and told that it may be a virus and to let it run it's course. I don't know if I am just really paranoid but I have been having some back pain (I have a history of some back problems and see a chiropractor occasionally). My throat has not gone down. What is wrong with me ? ?
