I Was Injured At A Restaurant By An Employee Rushing

I was injured at a restaurant by an employee rushing through a service door. He was in a hurry to take garbage out and didn't look through the peephole to see if anyone was there and he slammed me in the back with the door. The insurance company is going to be looking to settle with me. After seeing A neurosurgeon I was told I have a compression fracture above a previous fusion, and a herniated disk below that is in need of surgery.
What would be a reasonable amount to ask for in the settlement including all medical treatments as well as cost of surgury if successfull??
