I Was Intubated For A Surgery And Naturally Woke Up

I was intubated for a surgery and naturally woke up with a sore throat. But by the evening I couldn't even swallow and I finally got up and looked and there were cuts in the back of my throat and on side of my tongue, my tongue looked red and bumpy also. Fast forward- given spray by them. I end up going home, day three I choke on a pancake because I am so swollen and I and not up looking at my throat my but it's all white and raw. I dreaded having to get into the car but came back with the result of thrush most likely exacerbated by intubation cuts going down to my esophagus….this was now 14 days ago and I still have issues and was told I may need and ENT. I am frustrated and contacted the hospital for guidance-nobody but nurse looked in in my throat. Another car ride when I am not suppose to go in the car. Fluconazole and Magic Wash all taken all this time. Another issue, another dr…I don't want.
