I Was Just Diagnosed With Cystic Encephalomalacia. I Am 54

I was just diagnosed with Cystic Encephalomalacia. I am 54 years old with specific neurological deficits. I was diagnosed with an MRI. I will be seeing a neurologist on the 19th. I'm a ICU RN and simply having difficulties understanding any of this. Thank you
