I Was Just Punctured In The Top Of My Wrist,in

I was just punctured in the top of my wrist,in vein, by a large palm tree thorn. the pain in my hand and wrist has been extreme for hours, I thought just give it some time but I can't even pick up any weight with my hand. It has been about 3 hrs. since gardening. My wrist is very painful. It didn't bleed but a drop. I'm allergic to tetnus. I thought maybe I hit a nerve and that's why its so painful?
