I Was Just Told By My Doctor That I Need

I was just told by my doctor that I need to take Boniva. This was after I had a bone density test. Is there something else I could take or do to avoid taking medication...I don't like the side effects. I take no medicine and I am afraid of it. I am in perfect health and feel great.
