I Was Just Told That I Had Pleural Effusion In

I was just told that I had pleural effusion in both lungs and that I it was recommended from the Xray tech to do another x-ray....and was to come in for another X-ray in 6 weeks, as sometimes it clears up.
( I had just asked the doctors receptionist for the result of my x-ray). Do you recommend I make an appt to have some of the liquid taken out for testing? or just do the x-ray in ^ weeks? Does antibiotics clear this up? Thank you
