I Was Lifting Something Very Heavy When I Heard A

I was lifting something very heavy when I heard a pop in my back. I immediately fell to the floor in paralytic pain. I was able to get up 20 seconds later with great pain. It's been 3 days since then, and the standing position after 30 minutes is almost impossible. It feels like I have a nail in my back, and I have to sit or get on my knees in a curled position to relieve the pain. Initially, my chiropractor thought (without any mri or medical findings) that I might have pinched a nerve. I'm just hoping I didn't rupture a disc or do something more serious. I'm in a lot of pain. I was planning on going to urgent care and seeing if they can order an MRI and see what's going on with my back. Going back to work on Monday. Thank you for your help.
