I Was Looking For Stuff In A Storage Shed And

I was looking for stuff in a storage shed and found a lot of mice droppings. I didn't sweep anything and tried not to disturb the droppings, but now I read about airing the place out before going in, wearing gloves, etc. etc. none of which I did. How badly did I mess up and is there anything I can do now?
