I Was Lying Down When I Had Come Home From

I was lying down when i had come home from work, and while i was lying down with my eyes closed i felt a little funny. So I got up,once i stood up i felt either light headed or dizzy and than i got a weird taste in my mouth. I can't even explain what the taste, tasted like. It only lasted a few minutes. So i went in the bathroom and rinsed my mouth out with cold water, than I went and laid back down. Can you please explain to me what that is? Thank you in advanced
