I Was Perscribed Gabapentin For Diabetic Neuropathy. I Have Never

I was perscribed gabapentin for diabetic neuropathy. I have never had seizures . I do have type 1 diabetes and RA and osteoarthritis and a lot os pain,,, I was not sleeping because the pain would awaken me after just a few minutes of sleep. It does make me sleep Should I be on this drug ,? I can not believe I did not read the enclosed information before,,, I should have known better, I am a retired nurse. Never felt so stupid.
