I was playing soccer 2 weeks ago and went to get a ball and another player kneed me in the thigh. I supposedly got a dead leg and couldn't move it for a min. I iced after and stretched later. I sat out of practices for 4 days. It hurt to run and stretch still but I did light passing and running. After a few days it started to feel better, and I can now run without pain. However kicking the ball a far distance and passing the ball really aggravates my quad and I get a sharp pain in the middle of my thigh which radiates to my knee and to my groin area. What may be wrong? Why is my pain only occurring when I kick the ball?
