I Was Playing Soccer Last Night And Got Kicked In

I was playing soccer last night and got kicked in my right knee. It's now swollen and I can't bend it hardly at all. My upper thigh is also swollen and purple from bruising. I have a history of having knee problems. Should I wait a few days to see if it goes away or go to a doctor now?
