I Was Playing Volleyball Last Night And Had A Sudden

I was playing volleyball last night and had a sudden pain in my left knee. It hurts when I stand up from squatting or sitting as well as when I go up or down stairs but mainly up. It does not hurt when I walk normally. Is this something that I can monitor or something that I should have looked at right away?
